These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Chicago Roof Inspection's drone roof inspection services. By requesting or receiving our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

Chicago Roof Inspection provides professional drone-based roof inspection services using advanced aerial technology including high-resolution cameras, thermal imaging, and 3D mapping capabilities.

2. Service Agreement

Scheduling and Payment

• Booking: Services must be scheduled in advance. Same-day service is available based on availability and weather conditions.
• Payment: Full payment is required before service delivery unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
• Pricing: All quotes are valid for 30 days. Additional fees may apply for rush services or extensive damage assessment.

Service Delivery

• Timeline: Standard reports are delivered within 24 hours of inspection completion.
• Weather: Services may be rescheduled due to adverse weather conditions that affect safety or data quality.
• Access: Customers must ensure safe access to the property and clear the inspection area of obstacles.

3. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure safe and effective service delivery, customers agree to:

• Provide accurate property information and access details
• Ensure the inspection area is clear of people, pets, and obstacles
• Be available for communication during the inspection
• Inform us of any safety concerns or special circumstances
• Provide payment according to agreed terms

4. Limitations and Disclaimers

Important: Our inspection reports are for informational purposes and do not constitute a warranty or guarantee of roof condition. We recommend professional roof contractor evaluation for repair recommendations.

5. Liability and Insurance

Our Liability

Chicago Roof Inspection maintains comprehensive liability insurance and FAA Part 107 certification. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services. We are not liable for:

• Consequential damages or lost profits
• Incidental damages from inspection activities
• Damage caused by weather or other uncontrollable factors
• Decisions made based on our reports without professional consultation

Property Damage

While we take every precaution to avoid property damage, customers acknowledge that drone operations carry inherent risks. Any damage caused by our operations will be promptly addressed and covered by our insurance.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

• Cancellation: Services may be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled inspection for a full refund.
• Weather Cancellations: Weather-related cancellations are rescheduled at no additional cost.
• No-Shows: No-shows or last-minute cancellations may be subject to a service fee.
• Refunds: Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days of cancellation.

7. Intellectual Property

All inspection reports, photographs, videos, and data collected during services remain our intellectual property. Customers receive a license to use the provided materials for personal and insurance purposes. Commercial use requires written permission.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Cook County, Illinois. Both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of these courts.
